This unit Features a PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) Technology Program built into it which is commonly referred to as Magic Temperature Compensation Technology. This program cycles every 20 milliseconds to detect the actual temperature of the soldering iron's heating element/soldering tip and quickly corrects it with a rapid return to the correct set temperature. This Magic Temperature Compensation Technology also helps keep the soldering iron at a constant temperature no matter what type of job you are working on.

Included with the X-Tronic 4010-PRO-X is the Main 75 Watt Power Unit (60 Watts for the Soldering Iron & 15 Watts for the Soldering Iron Mother Board) with a Very Comfortable Ergonomic Grip Soldering Iron, 5 Extra Sizes/Styles of Soldering Tips, a Brass Sponge Soldering Tip Cleaner, a Wet Sponge, a Solder Sucker, a Pocket Pack Roll of 60-40 (Tin-Lead) Rosin Core Solder, Stainless Steel Pinpoint Tweezers, and an Anti-Static Grounding Alligator Clip (all shown in the 1st photo above). You will be Pleasantly Surprised how Easy it is to read the Numbers and Symbols on the Display. You will also want to notice the Calibration Buttons on the Upper Left, the 3 Temperature Presets & the Set/Program C/F Button on the Bottom, and the Temperature Up & Down Buttons on the Upper Right.
A 100% Silicone Power Unit Base & Tool/Parts Holder is also included with this unit (shown being used in the 3rd photo above) This photo shows how the Heat Resistant Silicone Mat can be used to organize some of your small tools, soldering tips and parts from the PCB you may be working on. Take a look at the photo and the Arrow shows you where you can slide your soldering iron in and out of the hole in the Silicone Insert to clean your soldering tip and the Wet Sponge is Conveniently Located just below on the Soldering Iron Holder. The On/Off Switch and Receptacles for the Power Plug, Grounding Wire, and Soldering Iron Power Cord are All located on the Back of the Main Power Unit (shown in the 2nd photo above).
