Designed for use in small to medium-sized networks of up to 25 users, the firewall is a very cost-effective VPN gateway, and the VPN functions of the Advanced VPN series are considered to be particularly powerful.

The superior encryption technology with SHA-2 enables excellent performance. Companies receive a strong, distributed VPN network across the entire company infrastructure and can connect branch offices or teleworkers securely and quickly to headquarters. Of course, the VPN series features a hybrid VPN function, so that additional users who only need limited or temporary access can easily access network resources.

The familiar Easy VPN feature allows remote access without configuration through auto-provisioning with client-to-site access via IPSec. Zyxel VPN client software automatically obtains a VPN configuration file from the remote VPN firewall and completes the IPSec VPN setup in three easy steps. The series features the advanced Secure-Hash Algorithm-2 (SHA-2) to enable the most secure VPN connections in its class.

The WLAN controller integrated in all VPN models supports CAPWAP and enables centralized authentication and access management of multiple access points and multiple SSIDs in the network.
