Built on Klark Teknik’s industry-leading AES50 SuperMAC technology, this I/O-packed solution bridges the gap between onstage talent and your mixing console while maintaining Midas’ renowned production scale that keeps costs accessible for professional audio engineers. When integrated into a complete Midas M32 system, two DL32 Stage Boxes can be cascaded through built-in AES50 ports, providing connectivity for up to 64 mic/line inputs and 32 balanced outputs.
The ULTRANET port enables direct connection to Turbosound iQ Series loudspeakers and Behringer POWERPLAY P-16 Personal Monitoring Systems, supporting up to 48 individual monitor mixers. Additional connectivity includes 2 optical ADAT sockets, AES-3 (AES/EBU) for outboard devices, USB for system updates, and MIDI I/O for lighting and sound module control. While originally designed for Midas’ M32 Digital Mixing Console, any mixing board with AES50 networking capability can access the DL32’s comprehensive feature set.
The unit pairs perfectly with an M32C to create a remote controlled digital mixing system in just 4U, or can provide independent monitor mix duties while sharing I/O with main consoles supporting MADI, Dante, ADAT or AES50. The revolutionary ULTRANET technology from Klark Teknik, Midas, Turbosound and Behringer seamlessly transmits up to 16 independent channels of 24-bit digital audio and control data via a single CAT5 cable, eliminating RF interference, signal crosstalk, and significantly reducing setup time while creating what the manufacturers call “Acoustic Integration” – unparalleled control over your entire audio production environment from one location.
