About Allbäck Linseed Oil Paint Paint and protect exterior and interior surfaces without solvents. Lasts for decades on wood, steel, iron, and plastic. For masonry surfaces such as concrete, use Allbäck's Emulsion technique.

Paint in direct sunlight, and store at any temperature. Easy to maintain over time with Boiled Linseed Oil or Linseed Oil Wax. Clean up with Linseed Soap and water.
For the health of the building, the craftsperson, and the environment. Technical Details Binder: Allbäck purified, boiled, and well aged linseed oil. Pigment: Chromium oxide, Chalk, Titanium dioxide, Iron oxide.
Drier: Manganese Siccative. Thinner: If necessary, thin with max. 5% Allbäck Purified Boiled Linseed Oil.
The paint is solvent-free and must never be thinned with solvents. Volume solids: 100% by volume. Nothing evaporates from the paint.
VOCs: <5mg / L, natural oil only. Sheen: Variations in sheen may occur if absorption and/or application is uneven. This will even out over time.
During application, the paint builds to an even soft gloss with more coats. Over time, and with exposure, the paint will become matte and stay that way for most of its lifecycle. Maintain the surface and restore the original sheen with Boiled Linseed Oil or Linseed Oil Wax.
Extra shining: Achieve an even higher shine and harder surface with Linseed Extra Shining Oil. Add 5-10% to the paint. Regulate thickness with Boiled Linseed Oil.
Substrate: The paint may be used on all clean, dry surfaces , exterior and interior. Max moisture content 14%. May be applied in direct sunlight.
Impregnate dry wood and cracks with Raw Linseed Oil before painting. Add 10-20% Zinc Oxide Additive when painting outdoors. Application: Stir the paint thoroughly to ensure all the pigments are well incorporated.
Brush, roll, or spray (high pressure, small nozzle). Thickness approximately 100 microns per coat, using Wet Film Thickness Gauge. Coverage: Average 15 - 20 m² per litre (161 - 215 sqft per litre), depending on the surface.
Each coat should cover the surface completely and be painted in even layers. Apply the same paint in at least 3 coats on new surfaces, 4 coats on particularly exposed surfaces. Very absorbent surfaces may take more paint.
Consider impregnation with Raw Linseed Oil to regulate very absorbent surfaces. Test with a small quantity of paint, or try our Linseed Oil Paint Intro Kit. Cleaning: Allbäck Linseed Soap and water or other neutral cleaning agent.
For surfaces, hands, brushes, and tools. Rinse well and allow to dry. Storage: Store brushes suspended in Raw Linseed Oil.
Keeping: May be kept indefinitely, even below freezing. Drying time: Approx. 24 hours at room temperature, with good ventilation, and low humidity (≥50% RH).
