FURUNO - DRS4D-NXT - THE NON-MAGNETRON DOPPLER RADAR NXT radars are solid-state radars using Doppler technology to ensure the safest navigation. The NXT series includes Target Analyzer , Fast Target Tracking and Auto Target Acquire functions for optimum detection and sensitivity of hazardous objects. Combined with RezBoost technology, the DRS4D-NXT is unrivalled in its ability to spot and track targets moving efficiently around your vessel with high resolution.

THE TARGET ANALYZER FUNCTION The Target Analyzerfunction using new Doppler technology instantly identifies all potentially dangerous targets, giving you even greater safety on board . Each target is automatically and continuously calculated. All potentially dangerous targets for your vessel change color from green to red.

You immediately identify the vessel that is becoming a danger to you. No longer confuse the echoes of buoys or anchored boats with those of vessels heading towards you. You can even detect thunderstorms (rain) shown in blue, as well as moving targets (Echo Trail).

FAST TARGET TRACKING FUNCTION Fast Target Tracking automatically tracks more than 100 targets simultaneously up to 3 Mn. It automatically selects targets around you in all directions and displays a speed and heading vector for each target. Targets with a risk of collision are shown in red, those without in green.

A collision risk alarm (TCPA) can be activated. REZBOOST FUNCTION The RezBoostfunction is a beam reducer for echoes up to 2 times sharper. The result is a very sharp and precise image.

You'll be able to differentiate between several mooring buoys in close proximity. The Rezboost function is equivalent to Radar with a 2° beam. BIRD MODE The DRS4D-NXT features a new bird mode that helps you identify birds gathering around schools of fish on the sea surface.

Bird mode automatically adjusts gain and sea settings for optimum visibility.
